You may like to check out the role of Knowledge Managers in some of the major consulting firms, including the big six. Many persons in such positions focus on capturing the key lessons learned based on diverse views expressed in online or offline forums. Examples include the role of Knowledge Managers in some such companies who summarize the lessons learned based on interactions supported via Lotus Notes groupware and Best Practice coordinators who work with experts to define and package relevant knowledge for distribution across the enterprise.
