Robbert,
I would caution you against direct monetary payments. There is a gowing literature and OD practice that direct rewards do not drive lasting motivation. We have examined some of this here and I'm sure Yogesh has more that points to experience in this area. I advise my clients to consider some recognition symbol (new PC?), OD types are talking of equity stakes, and vision shares where sharing and model behavior is rewarded with some ownership stake. Watch the other side of the coin, keep the work challenging, allow opportunities to learn and invest in peoples self-development. There are others here who are far more knowledgeable than me on this topic. I hope Yogesh can pull some links out the hat for you. This is an interest area of his.
