Rupert,Jay, Denham
I am not sure I know what Knowledge Management is but we have done considerable work on the intersection and differences of knowledge, learning, and information. We believe that they are three distinct processes:
Knowledge process
Learning process
Information Management Processes
We think that they intersect at multiple points. That they constitute most of the constructs of what we have seen referred to as knowledge management. And that the knowledge and learning processes are about the very human issues that Denham raises not the technolgy issue of data warehousing, networking, groupware, etc. All of these which are significantly impact information management also affect intersect and affect outcomes of knowledge and learning. While each of these processes are dependent on each other they can be studied and improved within there own constructs.

A new view to add to the debate!

Thanks for a great dialog!
Tom
