You're right. Tacit knowledge is inward and tacit information is outward. But maybe there's another difference. We imply that tacit information is already surrouding us. By discovering it, it will explicit. So, it is there but undiscovered. I'm not sure if that is comparable with tacit knowledge. Tacit knowledge can only arise if it is formed with the right information and interpreted well.

Conclusion: tacit information does already exist and tacit knowledge must be formed.
