It's interesting that this question has been posted for a couple of days and nobody has even attempted to answer it.
The KM gurus should be *all over* this question to justify and prove the real world utility of the field. If there is no proof of a real return on time, capital, and resources -- then there is no justification for a company to invest in KM.
