KM is only an oxymoron if we apply a progressive interpretation of Knowledge and combine it with a legacy definiton of Management.
I believe this also holds true for Intellectual Capital - on face value it does seem to be at odds with itself, but only if we apply outmoded ideas of the management and measurement of capital to the more contemporary views of intellectual assets.
I believe that the judicious application of a degree of referential integrity would resolve the apparent contradictions.
