Hi Rob
Let me clear out my thoughts. I agree knowledge sharing is possible, but before knowledge sharing can take place, knowledge has to be transformed into information first. Mankind is not able to directly exchange knowledge. Let me give an example:
Although it has already been the fourteenth of February, love is a great example. How can you express someone your feelings on love? Mostly one tries to do this by explaining facts why one loves someone/something, but the real feeling can’t be shared (or the other person must have the same feeling). If I compare love with knowledge both can’t be exchanged, only via information or explicit knowledge (or one must have supernatural gifts!).
Considering this BRINT-discussion, yes we exchange knowledge, but before we are able to do that, knowledge has to made explicit (which is information) and via information others can probably understand someone’s knowledge. This transferred information allows the other person to form his own knowledge.
New knowledge (via information) is welcome!
Rob
