Hi Don,
I think were on the same line, but how do you see ‘knowledge sharing’. Do you actually believe knowledge can be shared? As a result, the question arises: "What is knowledge?". I do not intend to start that discussion again but to clear my view on knowledge sharing, I will give my thought on knowledge.
Knowledge can only be tacit, once knowledge is explicit it is transformed into information. I do not believe in implicit knowledge. Knowledge can only exist in one’s head, once it comes out it will automatically become information/ explicit knowledge.
So, to make another distinction, knowledge sharing can only take place indirectly, via information, and not directly. Instead of knowledge sharing I use information sharing or indirect knowledge sharing.
Correct me if I am wrong!
