Hi Bjoerg,
Like Yogesh said, every organisation is a learning organisation, although some are stimulating it more than others. I think KM is a collection of tools which enable an organisation to learn more or faster. KM is built up out of two components: static KM and dynamic KM.
Dynamic KM is the actual sharing and creating of knowledge, I call this organisational learning.
Static KM is to create conditions to enable dynamic KM.Maybe this can also be called direct and indirect KM.
