Don,
I think you have given this a lot of thought. You are developing your storyboards about the two concept and that along with key questions to be asked is how conversation about these topic will progress.As I said previously Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital are just like the titles to books to me. Someone bigger that me is promoting the titles and telling executives they are hot.
The job for me and my company is to help client develop relistic objectives and meaning to these concepts and try and soften the vendor hype and flase expectations which I see developing.
I am going to continue to look at developing shared meaning around the intersection of groups with knowledge, learning, and information. Understanding practices which improve outcomes and promote better understanding of the dynamics of the above is all I have time to focus on.
I am going to let the big guys play wordsmith, and try and be non judgemental about their choice of words. This falls in the category of "Wisdom to understand things I cannot change"
