Hello:
I have been researching this specific area of competence for the last seven years and find the increased awareness of what I believe to be an important area to be refreshing. However, I would also ask you to consider if the "strategic" aspects of enterprise architecture and knowledge can be considered in splendid isolation or do they need to form part of a more comprehensive Architectecture and Management of Knowledge aimed at various levels of funtionality and abstratction aimed at delivering benefits to operational, tactical as well as strategic "points of use" within the organisation.
