We are just getting done with the final phase of customizations of the new community platform.
So that the community can start getting accustomed to basic use of the new platform, this question is now posted in the Knowledge Management Think Tank section of the new community platform. This message is now posted at:
Have Management Consulting organisations hijacked KM?
While anyone can view the new forums, registered members are allowed to post messages. Registration is required in the new community to detect, control, and eliminate spammers that have been becoming more irksome of late.
The new platform allows for creating new user accounts and for adjusting many personal preferences. It also contains other key improvements in terms of security and privacy of the members. Also, there are more features - which many of the members wanted in the new platform. e.g. One of them relates to an early discussion on viewing threads in linear / threaded mode: now you have the choice of seeing either or both of them.
