I am considering researching the possibility of developing a KM framework that will chart the flow of knowledge in the process of developing a new unit/subject in a university.
What I hope to achieve from this study is to determine if it is possible that a structured framework can be developed that encompasses all the formal and informal sources of knowledge in the process.
Ultimately, I am wondering if this framework will be able to 'streamline' the whole process of lecturer's gathering the information they need in developing new units. Could this framework then act as some kind of knowledge repository?
Being somewhat inapt in the KM arena, I would appreciate recommendations of websites or journals that I could get more information from as well as feedback on my above msg. Thanks!
