Hello
Seeking your thoughts on the concept of convergence. I suspect it should be likened to fusion.
Here's why? Seems there is a global phenomenon of convergence occurring at an increasingly faster rate since about 3 to 5 years ago. We see combinations (convergence) of nearly any discipline at an increasing rate.
Seems as if global knowledge might be going through a natural consolidation phase. Has such a phase, or phases, been recognised in the knowledge value chain other than in feedback loops?
Your thoughts please?
Any ideas how long this "trend" might still go on for, and where it might be leading to? Also, any thoughts on the macro impacts of such convergence(s)?
Kind regards,
Rob
