Hi
I am working for Q-Data Business Consulting.
A South-African based company. We have been intensively involved in the last four years in developing enterprise architectures and has recently expanded our initiative to include our business/enterprise architecture skills into a wider knowledge managment framework. Our approach to an enterprise architecture is a bit different from the Zachman framework in the sense that it is more focused on a business perspective than an Information Technology perspective. We believe that the enterprise architecture is the ideal place to keep meta-knowledge and subsistance knowledge. On top of the enterprise architecture functions an instance architecture that deals primarily with instances within the business domain. Our enterprise architecture fits into the knowledge management domain because we have the ability to present knowledge graphically and then publish it onto a companies intranet.
