Tacit knowledge do exist, no one should argue against that. But the discussions here is - how to manage tacit knowledge? I have only read a lot of theoretical discussions here. Why are no one presenting their success story regarding managing tacit knowledge when you people are so interested in the subject and fighting pro and contra management of tacit knowledge???
