Hi Mezei,
In the research that I did, we didn't get into the details of what the knowledge infrastructure might look like. However, I have my own views. I see five differrent kinds of technology driving the infrastructure: a) foresight sensing software- provides strategic trend data that can be used for scenario planning; b) knowledge database management software; c) generative learning software- stimulates creative thinking (e.g., Inspiration mind mapping software); Integrated Performance Support software- guides the worker through a sequence of performance steps as they do their work; e) interactive multimedia training. I realize this is not an exhaustive catalogue of technology required in a knowledge management infrastructure, but it could be a start.
