As a matter of fact: evidently no. All people must have some mechanism of relief, because one may face pain and sorrow everyday all over the world. Well, yes, a god is a great idea: centralizes power, all answers are available, life is eternal and we are all child of that god. It is very easy to obtain forgiveness to the sins, all thing are ok.
But, imagine if we can live without this kind of mistification; one could be more realist, give some founded orientation to own life, looking for a real meaning to the incredible paradoxes of life, without the goodness of mercyful god. People suffering, deading or loose hopes would be off godīs surveillance? When a plane is falling down, passengers ask for help of god; itīs clear that plane is crashing as an order of god, at the principle. How asks for a revogation of the first will? That is no logic or reason in the old oriental fables on so called holy bible, because texts were made in different moments and rewrote so many times to adjust to the eras, but, people consider that a sacre book. Finnaly, I can say that god is a good non-prescription drug (nevertheless, how many people died for god all along the centuries?)
You may free to believe in that madness, but I do not recomend it.
