Hi Joe,
Although being emotionally resilient is beneficial in sharing knowledge within groups, what may be a stronger factor will be how alligned are the motivations of individuals in the group.
E.g. "A" may be the most articulate & logical person you could find, but if the success of his group mate "B" is not important to (or counterproductive) "A", how likely is "A" to share his knowledge freely?
Office Politics anyone?
