Well, I did see something about a year ago dealing with Knowledge Engineering. It was tied to some certification program in Knowledge Management. Part of the focus was on engineering workplace design to enhance the KM development. Is there a direct link? I'm skeptical. I know people who are more creative behind the wheel of a car on the way to work, than any library, lounge, or ergonomically engineered cubicle. My feeling is, if I'm comfortable in my surroundings, then the creative juices seem to flow easier. But on any given day, these surroundings may be my back yard, the pool deck, or in the 5 o'clock traffic jam...!
I do believe it's the opportunity to interact with others through diverse discussion and opinions that the best 'workspace' is created. I've found some very useful insight, in forums such as this one, for example. Workplace takes on a whole new meaning then, doesn't it?

Joe :o))
