Iam a Kenyan and these Al Qaeda crooks have just bombed our beautiful town Mombasa and completely destroyed our tourism which we have taken years to build and on which our fragile economy is highly dependent.I wish to disagree that this set up is a learning organization.Of course it potrays some features that may confuse one to imagine that it is a learning organizatione but they are not. This is because:
1)they do not build on past knowledge to produce better products for thier customers(who are their customers anyway)
2)they do not freely share their knowledge.(i would think an al qaeda member in the U.S.A may not have the slightest idea about plans to bomb a particular hotel in Mombasa.
3)learning gives the organization competitive advantage over its rivals.(who are al qaeda's competitors)
more next time.
regards.
