Hi Robbert
I think you misunderstood me. I think all employees have a significant contribution to make. What I AM saying is that the Knowledge Strategy should determine the nature of the knowledge contribution. Operational experience, as usually found at temporary employee level, is vital to feed back into the Knowledge Strategy. Having said that, the policy should be translated into business rules, which could be operationalised at the level of temporary employees, regardless of them being students, contractors, or whatever.
For the life of me I do not know how you could read such a conclusion into my correspondence.
Please try and think in terms of organisational ecologies here, as opposed to personalised entities.
