KM with temporary persons in organisations

Hi,

When discussing knowledge management, it is always almost done out of a perspective that organisations are working with a stable group of persons, or the majority of persons act in that organisation for several years. Can anyone give me information (suggestions/literature) about knowledge management in an environment with the majority of persons on a temporary basis.

I’m particularly interested in MacDonalds like organisation. Is the MacDonalds way of working the best way (strict procedures and not much personal input) or does anyone know a more bottom up approach (much input of temporary persons)?

I hope you can help me...

Robbert
