http://www.KMNetwork.com/tools.html is based on keywords search. There is no taxonomy, just a list of words that may be related to KM Technology.
For example if you search for Information Mapping, the URI used is:
http://portal.brint.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?PA=%22information+mapping%22One of the results is:
4. WhereToStay.com - Barbados (Relevancy: 99%)
I wonder what that has got to do with Information Mapping and KM Technologies. Plus the link is broken.
The KMConnection site is built with human inputs. Given it is not completed yet, there is a link to each vendor site. It also specifically recommend users to visit the vendor site for the latest products and technology offered.
Guada is looking for a list of all technologies that can be use for KM (eg. E-learning, document management, portal, etc.) and products for each category. I think the KMConnection KM Product Guide is very relevant inspite of the personal bias that Denham pointed out.
