Hi
Here are a few thoughts to help you along.
A business model is a design. The design typically shows what is going to be done, in what manner, who is involved, how things would work, and the focus (framework) should be around the smarts (the actual business ideas) the model represents.
If, for example, your KM business model wants to exploit tacit knowledge, the result would show how you are going to go about it. Method is quite important to a business model, if not all important.
Bear in mind that one could utilize existing business models (best practice for example) on any topic, or subject within any industry.
