From what I understand so far, when we know something, we know it to
be true. To know something is to believe it to be true, on a personal
level. So knowledge is an extension of personal belief, thus knowledge
is the reality of the observer.

The reason I'm interested is because I've written material on
knowledge management, and in order to understand KM, it as to be
associated with personal experience. So why would we want to manage
knowledge? What are we really managing? We are managing our
perception of reality, which we believe to be true. We are going by
what we know to be true, as the basis for our decisions.

When we attempt to manage this process, what are we really doing? From
what I can understand, we can basically divide the entire process into
tacit/explicit, and attempt to manage the dualistic components. And
we do this by 'holding opposing views in mind at the same time, while
continuing to function'.

So managing knowledge, or personal truth, is really putting it through
a mental testing ground, I think. I'm not sure though, what the
purpose of the exercise is. If we know something to be true, why would
we break it down into tacit and explicit, then attempt to reassemble
it? Does this create a truth kind of testing bed? Is this the process
for analyzing and verifying truth, or the value of knowledge?

So what is the issue, or what is the directive or rationale, all these
ideas can be subject to the verification process, called KM, which is
based on the idea that truth (implicit) is our perception of reality,
and expressed as knowledge (explicit).
