I am looking for pragmatic suggestions for a small 60+ person company full of PhD scientists doing leading edge R&D in the small particle/nanotechnology field. They have several interdependent projects across a couple of locations with simultaneous software, chip and process development. Obviously lots of knowledge transfer is still word-of-mouth and informal, but they also do have weekly technolgy presentations and a shared server full of data and documents.
Can you give 3-7 pragmatic suggestions re: what you believe are the fundamentals of how to set a strong foundation of good knowledge management?
Thank you,
Karen Jacke
