In order for a large organization to successfully implement new cultural structure, middle management needs to be involved in the implementation process. This empowers the managers to take an increased commitment to the success of the project. They, in turn, can pass down this feeling of involvement to their employees, so that each associate feels involved in the change. There is less resistance this way. Communication and education are essential.
