Hi BK,
A few thoughts:
1) As seen with other net services/portals, anything that becomes a paid service which used to be offered for free tends not to be well accepted.
2) Brint could be divided into "Brint Basic" & "Brint Professional". The first will offer the services for free that is currently being offered by Brint. The latter would offer the paid value added services (either thru subscription or per use)
3) The people who would most likely pay to use Brint Professional would be those that need to get a specific business query answered as comprehensively as possible. As mentioned earlier, they may not have the time to wade thru Brint's archives or even know the right questions to ask to get what they are looking for. They could submit a query in plain english, and a resident team of experts would determine what the user needs and send them all the relevent information in the form of past articles, opinions, white papers etc. This could be similar to "Askme.com". The USP of Brint would be that business queries are answered with a much higher level of expertise.
4) Experts who are willing to answer these questions would charge a fee, with Brint getting a percentage.
just some ideas........
Take care,
Akhil
