I'm trying to get a fairly comprehensive understanding of the different portal platforms and search engines that are currently available and of the new, cutting edge, entrants that are coming through.
I've managed to draw up a fairly comprehensive list, but I'm having difficulty understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each because while I understand what they can do, I'm a bit of luddite.
Is anyone aware of any sites or alternative resources that evaluate the different players in these fields?
Thanks in advance.
