Hi Dawn,
organizational culture supports KM. KM requires a specific cultural context. we need values like: courage, openess, trust and responsability-based management. in such a context, transfer and creation of new knowledge is possible.
Without encouraging cultural values,KM could not generate good results.for better informations, look to these references:
Von Krogh, California Management review, 1998. look also to Gold, Malhotra et Segars, Sloan Management Review, 2001.
