Greetings everyone!
I am currently engaged in writing up a case study on the use of knowledge management in a stockbroking company. From my interview, it was found that there are no formal procedures used by the organization to implement KM, and that the dissemination of information is by e-mail, regular meetings, or thru the intranet.
The organization is happy with the sharing of explicit knowledge within the company, however, this feeling is not the same with tacit knowledge. Does anyone have any suggestions how a stocbroking firm can capture tacit knowledge (ie. an individual's experience with handling certain stocks, subjective insights, intuitions etc.)and share it within the company? What steps should this company be taking?
Also, could someone provide me with some recommendations on articles/journals/sites that would be helpful?
Thanks :)
Kiara
