The term ‘Globalization’ refers to an interactive process , where people ‘closer together’ through increasing the flows of product, services, and ideas using new technology called Infotech. In this process, however, corporations must work more efficiently and effectively than their competitors, and thus strive to implement Knowledge Management (including Learning Organization) that give them a competitive edge and capture economies of scale. This brings on the increasing demand of IT services (Intranet, E-Mail, VoIP, E-Commerce, etc.) so that it can aid in achieving proficiency, efficiency and ‘control’ the maneuver of Global Competition. Strategies of corporations will now have to be able to respond to threats and opportunities brought on by this new technology.
This remarkable combination of Knowledge Management, Infotech and Learning Organization creates a new level of sophistication and maturity management system that it did not happen before.
