Technology by no means is a solution in itself. It is a tool on which the sucess of KM lies. I am in no way suggesting that tool is not required, but what is critical is the alignment of business strategy to KM intiatives and using IT to expedite the ease of use, dissimentation of information etc...
Having strong Tool is always a plus .... But ensure that the tool is not the solution in itself.. there are other aspects of business that needs to be solved by the tool ( KM)...else it is like book with excellent cover page but poor contents..
