This is a good, concise way to make the point about knowledge capture. The problem is, people don't stay around, and the more knowledge they accumulate, the more likely they are to leave (change jobs, retire, or die). Therefore, knowledge capture using IT remains as a valid proposal and it will continue to be attempted, difficult as it is.
