Thanks a lot for the replies. Iīve been off for the weekend, thatīs why I just got the anwers a few minutes ago.
There were some interesting points, I havenīt considered yet. In particular the knowledge map thing (John Point 4).
Beyond that knowledge generating and identifying, KM also might be - after inventing it (including a portal system, e.g. mySAP enterprise portals) - a possibility to reduce operative risks of a company. Maybe by influencing the employees behavior? Or combining knowledge management with systemising the operative risks? Could this be an interesting "new" point?
