Yes, I fully agree about your brief evaluation Nonaka's view. It's good to learn about these views though, because they help formulate ones own views. The crucial expression here is "ambiguous". One must understand clearly that the culture described by Nanoka heavily favors abmbigous communication. It is reasoned that such fuzzy communcation will eventually lead to innovation.
If you allow your brain to storm and then evaluate and render the free associations in a logical and clear taxonomy, then, yes, then innovation may come about.But not, if you deliberately keep your communication fuzzy all the time.
And this applies to the transactive memory described above. The description is clear and describes healty organizational learning that indeed can be a reality. And let me add that organizational learning must be p r e c i s e and not vague.
