Is it always sunny in Cordoba?
Two things spring to mind
firstly, it can be argued that there's no such thing as a merger - it's always a takeover; there's generally one side's management that's plonked into the other organisation
and secondly, and possibly following on from the point above, knowledge sharing is a cultural occupation, and involves attributes such as mutual trust. It's hardly surprising that this is lacking, particularly in the early months of post m+a
I'd be intersted to hear how organisations have got round this.
