Just to get you started....

The Fifth Discipline Fieldbook.
Excellent read and full of practical advice, assistance etc. I think it has just be updated again. Has a lot of stuff on learning models, picking out underlying behaviours etc.
(I'm in the process of re,re,re,re,re,re,rereading it!)

Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins.
OK, so why am I suggesting you read a book (badly written one at that IMHO) about motivation? Basically there are a handful of chapters in the middle of the book that focus on changing people's behaviours via approaches other than "change management". You'll find the bit about working with Military pistol shooters interesting (don't focus on their actions, focus on how they think about their actions).

Modelling Excellence
A paper recently written by yours truly that sets out a mandate to use alternatives to traditional business analysis and knowledge transfer. This is "part 1" of a series under development and you can get it here

Hope these set off OK.

Regards,

Ross ;-))
