Your note suggests that you consider theories and metaphors [and perhaps analogies] as antithetical in nature within the context of creation of new knowledge. However, one may argue that this may not be the case. There are theoreticians and practitioners who often use both theories and metaphors [and analogies] in a complementary fashion. Both theories and metaphors may be used for propagating a 'systematic view point.' The inherent characteristic of falsificationism of a theory suggests that your assertion about theory as a basis for 'absolute truth' is incorrect.

Perhaps, you may help us understand your viewpoint better by further explanation.
