1) Document (object) uploading / publishing
2) Personal profiles, e-notebook and journals
3) Ability to remember and track new posts
4) Web presence detection and integrated instant messenger / chat
5) E-mail notication, group mail
6) Ability to spawn 'private' rooms - sub conversations
7) Ability to track who has read what
8) Linear scrolling interface rather than a threaded board as here
9) Space for group announcements
10) Ability to run applications from within the individual posts e.g. speadsheets
11) Tracking of interests and suggestions of participants who may share interests
12 ) True collaborative writing - i.e. edit access to the same post by multiple parties.
