Hi,Sameer
I agree with Martyn and Ponnu that willingness to share knowledge, fear of being made redundant and so on are important. But I think a critical issue is lack of sound theoretical basis: imagine you want to cook a cake. If you didn't have the recipe, you didn't know the ingredients, and didn't even know what a cake is, how would you go about? You should think by yourself what knowledge is...You don't need to be an epistemologist, just make up your mind. You should decide "WHAT ACTUAL CAKE YOU WANT TO COOK" before proceeding. You must use a critical approach: is knowledge a process or an object? Where and how I've learnt something in my life? Does the ingredients proposed to me help this leraning in my practical activity. For istance, suppose, as I imagine, you're learning most from your teachers and school fellows (or work fellows)by face-to-face interaction. You should ask yourself: is technology or software making me feel more comfortable in learning? Let's make KM real and pratcical...
Regards,Gianluca
