Hello,

Greetings from sunny Spain.

I don't think there are limitations to Knowledge Management, in fact, people seem to make of KM what they wish. The problems and potential of KM are limited by people, resources and appropriateness, not forgetting that great old ingredient, imagination. KM is fine, people are fickle, prone to politics and frequently averse to risk taking. Times are getting tighter and this will lead to greater mean spiritedness, now that's a real challenge to overcome, otherwise recession will lead to depression. Over simplistic? for sure, but the general drift is there.

However, I am reminded of that great question posed by Abe Lincoln, which was "How many legs does a dog have if you call the tail a leg?"

To whish the answer went something along the lines of "Calling a dogs tail a leg still doesn't make it a leg".

Cheers,

Martyn R Jones
