Hi,
Few limitations of KM are :
The cultural issue. Experts are not ready to share knowledge about the expertise. This is the biggest issue with KM.
Insecurity among employees, feeling among the employees are that if the knowledge is shared and kept as a repository then the employee becomes redundant.
KM cannot be so effective when people using it are not willing to be part of the sharing arena.
Regards,
Ponnu
