What you said about how to collect and maintain these profiles makes sense. Do you have a profile template that I could take a look at?
Is there any value add to doing personal interviews when collecting the kind of profile data I mentioned before: past projects, areas of expertise, work contacts, and work experience at the company, personal experiences outside work such as travel, hobbies, passions, and contacts, etc.
