We are definitely on the same page!!

As for Jonathan:
To me participation and experimentation are the adjuncts, enhancers, and substitutes to a base position of life's learning of reusable metaphors. Jonathan sustituted experimentation for the "fly and eat" metaphor of the knowledge community (flock). Bach makes a great point, but I still prefer some level balance(mixture) between thinking in metaphors and doing. Jonathan was to one sided "experimental" and his model will normally lead to starvation or accidental death. Thank God we use computer modeling(metaphors) before we use test pilots(Jonathan's experimentation) today. But then again, I believe that the spirit after death will continue to coach the living. So at the ecology level maybe he's right.
