Yogesh
I think we are trying to get to the same point. Hypothetically, I would like to revisit an old thread in this forum two years from now, because it is applicable to something I am now doing. What I am trying to do with technology is not look for newness of the idea but try and figure how can I reactivate that thread and see if any of the old participants or new wants keep it going. Today there is no way to push it to the top or alert people that I would like this session to again become active with all of the prior activity as part of the context. One of the advantages of a virtual conference room is that it can stay dedicated to a focus (main topic) with low occupancy cost. Now I can creatively link threads either by choas or structure and maybe reactivate a community (thread). It is making this last point happen that I am trying look for a technological assist. All current conference software makes it difficult for a dormant and "down in the stack" thread to come alive again.I hope I am a little clearer. At a tacit level I know what I am trying to do but am having a difficult time getting it to an explicit level. Bear with me.
