Hi Justin,
Here is a list of knowledge forums with an indication of their message traffic. Like everything, choice of KM community depends on your interests. There is a considerable range out there: KM standards, KM best practices, KM conversations, both open and closed communities and a belwidering variety of software.
In terms of traffic, variety of questions, size of archive and history, Brint is way the largest. KMWorld has recently started a question driven community using Organik their profiling software that may prove to be interesting.
I wonder when Brint will be updating their community software?
