thank you for your response.
although the quantity of information is overwhelming and often seems redundant at first glance, i'll keep searching. i trust that once i examine the organisational landscape in question, how, to whom and in what way a CoP could exist and be beneficial, my questions on the initial stages of 'building' a CoP will be elucidated.
i would be delighted to hear of anyone's concrete experience with this.
