I have been seeking to jump-start a knowledge management initiative in my company for quite some time. Unfortunately, the only KM aspect that the decision makers in the company appear to be interested in is fine-tuning the intranet. I have been working with that particular project group and have tried to expand the discussion to a general KM discussion, but to no avail. My colleagues appear comfortable doing things "the old way" and refuse to expand their focus beyond the intranet - the obvious KM quick-fix. Does anyone have any idea how I can fuel the KM interest fire? Perhaps I have adopted the wrong approach. Thanks. My concern is that we will spend time and resources on the intranet and will not be able to demonstrate any real ROI, thus killing the future of KM in the company. Thanks.
